Good grief!
That interview was the BBC!!!!! I would have mistaken it for Breitbart.
The interviewer (I will NOT call her a journalist) used rudeness and recitations of common slogans as a substitute for actual knowledge. Her ignorance was mind boggling and I contrast her total lack of research and understanding with say Geraldine Dooge of our ABC who even when her own views shows through gives respect to the interviewee and never, never reveals such appalling ignorance.
Her sources were months out of date and she seemed totally unaware of changes in anything past April. The good professor was estimable in his patience but in every answer he revealed her as a fool and someone who got her talking points from approved government sources. If this is the sort of mouthpeice the British intelligence establishment uses then it is not surprise that it seems the much respected competence of the British spooks no longer seems to be evident.

Thank you for alerting me to this excellent interview, Janet. The BBC journalist did a superb job in a concise time frame. I could not have done better myself. Her questions covered the major issues and her subject responded by making relevant points. She brought out his knowledge for the benefit of the audience, which is the object of the exercise, and avoided the sin sometimes committed by Australian interviewers who try to make themselves the star of the show. Sarah Ferguson interviewing Steve Bannon comes to mind. If we want to learn more we can read Kishore’s book. I doubt if I will because it is the Australian century that interests me, not the Asian century.
