Alan Gamlen correctly identifies the proximate causes of social unrest…however, he fails to trace them back to their original cause. Every one of them is a direct result of some exercise of United States hubris.
If the US wasn’t spread around the Middle East like some sort of plague, there would be no Terrorist attacks.
If the US exercised even a minimum control over its completely immoral financial system, there would be no financial crises.
If the US stopped trying to impose its will by force of arms (as they simply have no understanding of Diplomacy) there would be no wars, nor refugee crises, nor forced displacements.
If the moron in the White House and his clown car of enablers would listen to science and take the necessary action, climate pressures would be under control.
