Book burning and fascism

It can hardly be denied that the West, that 12 per cent of humanity, has in recent decades been moving steadily but consistently to the right economically and politically. There is much debate about what the causes of this development are but it is undeniable that at least one of those causes is the invasion of the Western mind by the semi-literate ideas of Neo-Liberalism first promoted by the Austrian School of economics alongside the fevered imaginings of Ayn Rand.
It has been increasingly noted by more modern economics that the Neo-Liberal ideology and its literary running dogs were and remain disconnected from the lives of the bulk of western humanity. The fundamental ideas that characterised it was that of personal individualism and corporate power that arose from the power gained by a small number of individuals to dictate to the state and therefore the populous.
That idea was also the foundational belief of the political ideology of Fascism that arose in mid last Century Europe. The key was unadulterated power of the few to dictate to the many and that meant careful control of the public mind. Thus banning books was its key control measure which is shared by modern Zionism!!
